NC Research & Innovation 

Niagara College’s Research & Innovation Division provides real-world solutions for business, industry and the community through applied research and knowledge transfer activities. We conduct projects that provide innovative solutions, such as producing and testing prototypes, evaluating new technologies, and developing new or improved products or processes for small- and medium-sized businesses. With funding support from various regional, provincial and federal agencies, students and graduates are hired to work alongside faculty researchers to assist industry partners leap forward in the marketplace.

ncTakeOff Interactive Digital Media Lab 

This IDM lab is co-located with the savvy Innovate Niagara team, cutting edge production technology and several early-stage IDM companies. Incubation space is available to student entrepreneurs involved in IDM.

The ncLibraries Exploratory allows access to photography/film equipment, a 3D printer and various design software that you might not otherwise have the opportunity to explore.

Marotta Family Innovation Centre 

The new 49,000 square foot four-storey complex is scheduled for completion in Fall 2018 and will significantly enhance the College’s ability to support the growing competitiveness of Niagara’s agri-business sector. The complex will include agri-food research and innovation laboratories, incubation space for business, specialized training facilities for student engagement and entrepreneurship, and will house a student fitness centre and gymnasium on the lower level.
